Sometimes people come to me simply feeling “off” — heavy, stuck, restless without knowing why. In many spiritual traditions this is understood as stagnant or negative energy gathering around a person or a home. The energy work I offer here in Calgary is a calm, respectful way of helping that heaviness clear.
What I mean by negative energy
I use the term the way my tradition does: the accumulated heaviness that can settle after stress, conflict, grief or simply a difficult season. It is not something to be frightened of. Think of it less like a curse and more like a room that has not been aired out in a long while. My role is to help open the windows.
How the cleansing works
A session is gentle and unhurried. Depending on what feels right for you, it may include traditional cleansing practices, the use of sacred sound, light and incense, prayer or mantra, and simple guidance you can continue at home. Nothing about it is dramatic or alarming. Most people describe the experience as deeply relaxing — the spiritual equivalent of finally taking a deep breath.

Many Calgary families ask about cleansing a home after a hard period, a move or a loss. I am glad to advise on simple, respectful practices that help a space feel settled and warm again.
